Sunday, May 15th, 2011, Temple Beth El will be holding their annual Mitzvah Day. This will be the 14th year held. This day is a special one "To perform acts of generosity and community service" -Beth El, As well as "a day we devote to social justice and action" -Beth El.
Temple & Community Members will be meeting in the morning at Temple Beth El at the David Silverman Social Hall. Throughout the day There will be several projects in different areas of Charlotte including helping out with Assisted Living, Shelters, Schools, Hebrew Cemetery, Jewish Family Services & this is just a sampling of the list! These wonderful volunteers will also be working on Care packages, supplies, clean up, landscaping, painting & so much more, for many different people & facilities.
